    Strengths Zone uses the Gallup Strength-based approach for all onsite training programs. In a strengths-based organization, strengths are woven into every aspect of operations, strategy and day-to-day performance.

    All organizations want to focus on the strengths of their employees, but too often, they focus on the employee’s weaknesses and work toward fixing those rather than building on the employee’s strength. Gallup believes that finding what people naturally do right and building on that helps both the employee and the company rise above mediocrity.

    Gallup has found that when an employee is taught to use their natural talents and develop them into strengths, they are six times more likely to be engaged on the job. Teams that focus on strengths rather than weaknesses are 12.5 percent more productive.

    Strengths Zone Methodology

    Using the Gallup method, Strengths Zone’s onsite training helps your staff discover their natural talents and develop them into strengths. The training also helps leadership in your company understand that focusing on weakness and attempting to “fix” them leads not only to dissatisfied staff, but makes them mediocre leaders.

    A mediocre leader will produce mediocre results, leading to a less-than-stellar company. Strengths Zone has found that focusing on strengths has a transformational effect on employees, leadership and the organization as a whole.

    One of the tools used by Strengths Zone is the Clifton Strengths Finder, an assessment program designed to help individuals understand strengths-based psychology.

    CliftonStrengths is a Web-based talent assessment instrument from the perspective of Strengths Psychology.

    Through a secure connection, CliftonStrengths presents 177 items to the user. The user is given 20 seconds to respond to a given pair of descriptors before the system automatically presents the next pair.

    CliftonStrengths is an omnibus assessment based on Strengths Psychology. Its primary application has been in the work domain, but it has been used for understanding individuals in a variety of roles and settings – employees, executive teams, students, families, and personal development. It is not intended for clinical assessment or diagnosis of psychiatric disorders.

    Clifton Strength Finder

    The Clifton Strength Finder is a web-based talent assessment instrument that uses Strengths Psychology to help individuals determine what natural talents they have and identifies methods for focusing on those strengths.

    The program can identify a full list of 34 strengths and help employees understand their complete strength profile. In addition, the program provides insight into how to recognize strengths in others and establishes strategies that will maximize natural talent.
